Jesse Schuler grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and has been a Catholic his entire life. Music has been a lifelong passion - he studied piano for ten years before entering college. While attending the University of Louisville, he studied trumpet, was a member of the Cardinal Marching Band for four years, and earned a degree in Music Education from the School of Music. Jesse pursued a graduate degree thereafter earning a Masters of Arts in Teaching. He has worked as a substitute teacher, an elementary general music teacher, and a middle school choir and theatre director. Jesse has previously worked for the Archdiocese of Louisville for five years, serving as a Director of Music at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and St. Lawrence Parishes. Jesse also serves as the Musical Director for the New Albany Children’s Theatre. Jesse is a devoted husband and father. Married to Allison since September 13, 2014, they have a beauful daughter named Scarlett. When he is not playing piano or teaching, Jesse enjoys watching football and Jeopardy, attending UofL sporting events, singing karaoke, and playing with Scarlett and their two dogs.
