St. John Paul II Parish offers Religious Education classes for K-8 students starting in August and ending in April.
Our classes are currently split by the following grades:- Kindergarten/1st Grade
- 2nd Grade (includes preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion)
- 3/4 Grade
- 5/6 Grade
- 7/8 Grade
The above classes meet on Sunday Evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 in the St. Joe Hill Campus. 2019-2020 classes began on August 11, 2019. If you would like to register, please contact Kristina Seipel.
Catechists (Teacher):
The Catechists at St. John Paul II are parishioners who volunteer to teach public school or homeschool students in our religious education program (previously known as CCD). Our religious education program aids parents in their role as the primary educators of their children in the faith and helps them prepare to receive the sacraments.
Catechists' Helpers:These volunteers assist the catechists on Sunday evenings during religious education classes for grades K-8. Their help enhances the catechist’s ability to teach uninterrupted and give one-on-one assistance to children as needed.
