MORNINGS OF REFLECTION
Sharing Faith is part of JPII’s First Communion and First Reconciliation processes. Mornings of reflection are a time to gather as part of our parish family, grow in our understanding of Sacrament and to nurture and share our faith. They are an opportunity to grow in our discipleship – our walk with Jesus Christ.
The Mornings of Reflection consist of attending and participating in 3 different gatherings, which will be offered several times throughout the year. You do not have to attend them chronologically or in the same series, however all 3 need to be attended as part of the readiness process. Here are some specifics about all 3 of the Morning of Reflection gatherings.
GENERAL INFORMATION- All gatherings will take place in the GYM Meeting Room on the St. Joe Hill Campus. This is just up the hill from the new church
- Please RSVP the gathering(s) you will be attending by emailing Marlene Stammerman, mstammerman@stjohnpaulparish.org

- Child Care will be provided for the 1st Gathering of the 3 part series. This request needs to be made one week prior to the date of the gathering. Please let Marlene know if you will need babysitting.
THE THREE PART SERIES- Blessed and Broken – Parents/Guardians Only
- This gathering will explore the Eucharist, nurturing and growing our faith, experience of prayer, and how to nurture and cultivate your family’s faith. It will be offered:
- Saturday, January 13, 2024 – 9:00am – 10:30 AM

- The Sacrament of Love – For both Parents/Guardians and First Communicant
- We will open with an interactive prayer experience of making bread, unpack the liturgy and Eucharist being the source and summit of our faith, real presence, and the power of love in our lives and how we share that love with others.
- Saturday, February 10, 2024 – 9:00am-10:30 AM

- Come, Follow Me – Both Parents/Guardians and First Communicants Adults &; Children
- In this series gathering we will delve deeper into how the Eucharist nurtures our discipleship, discover the freedom the Sacrament of Reconciliation gives us.
