This year, JPII is honored to host the Deanery’s only Divine Mercy Celebration.
The day begins with Confession, opening at 2:00 PM and remaining open until 3:00 PM (until those in line have had their confessions heard). At 3:00 PM, a Holy Hour, with Hymns, scripture reading & reflections, intercessory prayers for the Church & Healing, and singing of the Divine Mercy Chaplet will begin. At 4:00 PM, there will be a reception in the Narthex for all in attendance!
Jesus said to St. Faustina in a private revelation about the Divine Mercy Feast: "The soul that would go to Confession and receive Holy Communion will obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment..." (Diary, 699)
Please join us at St. John Paul II to celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday, on April 27th!
