Children's Liturgy of the Word

Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”  (Matthew 19:14)

At JPII, we welcome all children to attend Mass with their families. At Sunday Masses, we have special programming for children. After the opening prayers, all children in grades K-5 are invited to come forward as a group, be blessed, and then journey together to our Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) room to share the readings of the day and discussion/lessons at their level. Children return at offertory to join the congregation in the Liturgy of the Eucharist. 

We also offer our Cherub/Nursery for children aged 6months - PreK. Children may be signed-in beginning 30 minutes before Sunday Mass in our nursery, which is located on the left side of the gathering area.
